Interesting, one'd have hoped that EU mandates would affect the UK anyway, rather like California's car rules can't help but affect the US more widely, unless manufacturers want more difference among what they make. After all, when my car was made, I don't believe they were making this model in the UK. At least, I haven't found the rear-reversing camera and the manual's index doesn't mention one. I try not to use them exclusively anyway for fear of forgetting how to reverse without one! Though, my car may have been made just before they started adding the cameras as standard.
