That's great. My wife mst3kmoxie has it come to her more naturally like that: after but a few journeys through a new large city she already has a fair mental picture of it. I do well once I've studied but I do have to make that effort or hardly any of it goes in at all. Though, in communicating with her it always turns out that we can't make much sense of each other's terms for the landmarks we both have in mind: it is less effort for her to just drive than to try to explain to me where to go!
